OWNER'S MEETING IN LESS THAN 2 WEEKS!!!
As noted in a memo to all owners on July 1st, the ANNUAL MEETING of HPN Owners will be held on Saturday, September 7th, beginning at 9:00 AM. As we have for the past 3 years the meeting will be held at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 103rd and Coastal Highway.
Following the meeting we will have the annual Owner's covered dish luncheon. HPN will provide fried chicken and wine, and we look forward again to lots of varied food goodies from our owners. Shortly after the 1PM start of the luncheon, HPN's "house band" - Celebrate & Co. - will begin the 1st of hopefully 3 sets of great music on the deck (weather permitting).
ELECTIONS/proxies
The 3 year terms of Dave Charter and Bill Beers expire this September so this year there are two (2) positions open on the HPN Board of Directors. To date two owners have indicated their desire to run and, as required by HPN Bylaws, have provided the HPN office with their written credentials and qualifications. If you are interested in running please contact the Nominating Committee or the HPN Office.
If you cannot attend the meeting please send your Proxy to Tom Downey at the HPN Office no lagter than Thursday, September 5th. You can fill out the Proxy you received with the meeting notice in July. If you cannot find that Proxy you can obtain a copy from the"Downloads" link on this website. Cross out the reference to "2010", insert "2013", sign and return or scan and email.
NEW BANK
PNC Bank, the bank which has managed the payment coupon program for HPN and many other owners associations in Ocean City, has elected to discontinue this service on August 31st.
Effective September 1st the Bank of Ocean City will be providing payment/coupon services to HPN.
You will be receiving a letter in the next few days describing what, if anything, you need to do with your monthly payment as a result of this unexpected change.
