UPDATE - Thursday NIGHT, February 28th, WATER HAS NOW BEEN TURNED ON AGAIN - HOWEVER THERE IS A LOT OF RUST
Tom will be draining all lines after the water shut off earlier today to eliminate as much rust as possible. Things should be back to near normal by Friday Afternoon.
HPN's 42 year old water boost system for the entire building continues to deteriorate and is in need of upgrading. Prior to this upgrade we need to remove and rebuild a pump motor for installation at a later date. In order to do this the water supply to the entire building needs to be shut down.
If everything goes according to schedule: the removal of one motor will impact the building's entire water supply and all units will be without water for the minimum of three hours. Once the water is turned back on there may be discoloration in the water for a short time.
Please notify your family, guests and rental company (if necessary) of this scheduled work.
Thank you for your help and cooperation. If you have any questions please contact Tom Downey.
